My name is Isa Guadalupe Medina and I am a designer and artist from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, currently living in Portland, Oregon. My work focuses on the intricacy and detail that is reflected from nature and my roots. The different motifs I create are inspired by feelings that emerge from the rare beauty and constant change of nature. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons The New School for Design, New York. Since then I have been focusing on creating hand-beaded and woven pieces that explore movement and transcendence of time in relation to the human body/experience.

ABOUT
ISA GUADALUPE
DISEÑO — ARTE
My work as an artist has always been focused on the flora and
fauna of my surroundings. I am guided by the constant change
and ephemerality of life in nature. I am intrigued by small textural
details, working with beads and textiles has taught me patience and appreciation of intricate work. My goal is to be able to give back, learn more and contribute in
helping the nature that inspires my work.
